Among MDi's missions is to “Erase the Digital
Divide” which is based on a situation analysis in
progress by MDi and with partners like Cincinnati
Change we will Erase the Digital Divide in southern
Ohio.  This includes the lack of broadband access
and use of the world-wide web for safety, security,
communications, education, and eCommerce in
poor and minority communities.

MDi through Cincinnati Change will lead an
African  American Coalition to Erase the Digital
Divide with Gigabyte pipes into to 100 million
American homes by 2020. We will have operating
by 2010 in Cincinnati, Ohio a demonstration
project in southern Ohio cities that imbed all of the
solutions mentioned in this page in homes through
actions of the Cincinnati Change and allied
partners.
Cincinnati Change, is a Ohio not for profit company, that
believes that one of the prime causes of crime is poverty
and that we can change the conditions in which poverty
exists.  To do that we will unite 20,000 households in
Cincinnati through September 11th, 2010.
